My work is characterized as being

I have noticed that I am hire because of my technical skills in the areas of software development, infrastructure management, and system architecture.  A year later, the perception is that I add even more value in devising long term strategies for:

1. Doing more with less.
   

2. Building strong, responsive technology organizations
   

3. Innovation in use of technology and industry standards
   

In terms of technology, I am a strong proponent of open standards and was an early adopter and support of  the open source software movement.
